M247 Strapping Machines

Used with a 32mm steel strap, Signode®'s revolutionary steel strapping head. It is used in EH type strapping flat metal coils, CH type strapping peripheral strapping, BRP type strapping pipe and long product packages and BRS type automatic strapping machines strapping long plate packages. The characteristic of the M247 head is that it is not composed of a single part and consists of separate modules that perform functions such as tensioning, high tension, sealing, strap feeding. Every minute is important in the competitive environment we are in; if one of these modules requires maintenance, this module can be easily disassembled and replaced with a spare module in a very short time; in this way, it is ensured that there is no stoppage in the strapping machine.

All modules of the head are electrically powered, as a result of which the machine is fast and has a much lower noise level and energy efficiency is much higher. The required spare parts have a longer life and all modules are powered from a single energy source. Since the desired tension is not affected by the compressed air that can vary in each cycle, it remains constant in each strapping.
