Steel Strapping Seals

All strapping products will require a sealing process. The choice for the proper seal will always be strongly influenced by the type of tool or machine selected for closing the strap. At MPS we manufacture various types of strapping seals for highly demanding tool and machine applications. Our various range of seals can be used in all types of tools and machines within the strapping industry, including Signode, Strapex, Orgapack tools, machines and many more. All our seals guarantee the highest joint efficiency for each different strapping application.

S/O Type Seals

They are open-type sealers used both during and before the tensioning of the strapping.

T/O Type Seals

It is placed in the steel strapping before the tensioning process is applied.

O/F Type Seals

These are open-type sealers used in strapping applications that require higher tension than S/O-type sealers.

P/T Type Seals

It is placed on the strapping before applying tension to the steel strap and is a closed sealer. Overlapping edges allow higher tension to be retained.

Nestack Type Seals

With Signode® technology, sealers placed in the form of magazines on top of each other allow serial operation. It is used in combined working tools and automatic strapping heads

Microgrip Seals

It has been developed to be used in heavy operations such as lashing, bracing and lifting. The inner side of the sealer in contact with the strap is covered with special anti-slip sand and complies with international standards.
