Tenax® Polyester Strapping

Signode® Tenax® is a highly engineered product that combines the performance characteristics of a steel and plastic strap, which has been developed to achieve a stronger and more flexible strapping material.

Since its introduction in 1990, Tenax® has become a suitable alternative to the steel strap in many heavy-duty, baling, stacking, palletizing and unitizing applications. The elongation and recovery characteristics prevent the strap from being stretched and breaking down due to impacts. Unlike the steel strap, Tenax® does not stain the product when in contact with rust and other materials. It is also much safer and does not cause any damage to forklift tires. Tenax® is fully recyclable. It minimizes packaging waste and saves usage costs.
